Trust the advice you are given!
I bought this having never done decoupage in my life. It's for the grandchildren to make a keepsake box for my wife, their Granma. I bought the plain wooden box from Hobbycraft, A4 size, as it was dead handy, and the best value anywhere. I phoned the shop to ask advice. Thinking it would be fairly non-committal, I received a glowing report from a male member of staff, who said he used it himself. The children are good crafters, and knew immediately what to do. I had prepared them by getting 'key' words and 'names' pre-written on coloured paper. The result is tremendous, and I know Granma will be gob-smacked on Christmas Day. Thanks to all the staff at Hobbycraft, who do a great job in difficult circumstances.

Very easy to go on and quick to dry with a gloss texture.
This item was great for painting over Pebbles I had collected from the local beach I cleaned them and wrote personalised messages and gifted them to family members. My granddaughter age 5 was able to help and any glue residue easy to wash off. Our wee coronavirus craft project.

Works really well as a glue and glaze all in one
Need something to decoupage and glaze some tree decorations in a hurry. This dried really quickly too.

Good as waterproof varnish
I made some coasters and needed a waterproof varnish that wasn't spray, as these days is raining all the time and cannot go outside for that. I luckily found this safe product for my craft needs.

better than you'd think
If you're thinking of just using the old pva glue for decoupage like your school days, use this instead. Easy to use, nice finish and you get quite a lot for the price. May be more useful with it's own brush in the lid but old paintbrushes are easy to find about the house. Worth it!

Brilliant Glue
This glue is brilliant, a little goes a long way, and it dries to a lovely mid-sheen varnish. Just don't wear a new jumper when you're using it, as it doesn't come out in the wash :-(

ive never done decoupage but it was easy i cant wait to do it again. this glue dose double as varnish i done a whole side table with just a bit of this ive got loads left great buy

Great glue
Good product, used for gluing and finishing my project with the decoupage paper. Stuck well to the wooden box I used. Very pleased. My first attempt at decoupage and all went well.
