The importance of good thread

Variety of colour's and strength
When buying cotton, I think its important the colours match your material. Always a good choice in store and different strengths.

Gutterman cotton at this price is amazing.
I bought a few reals of cotton iam making a quilt so will use it for that. The wool ball makers is to make a rug, you make large the large size balls and then tie them on to a backing and you have a very preety and soft rug ideal for childrens room. The in store make classes are fantastic my friend and i have just started going, only one problem one hour is not enough time maybe two would be better.

Good quality thread
I was having problems with my sewing machine skipping stitches, it turned out it was due to the cheap thread I was using. I was recommended this thread by a member of staff, and Bob's your uncle, no more skipping stitches. Highly recommend this good quality product - thanks Hobbycraft :)

Brilliant
Bought this after one of the workers in our local recommended it, and we love it. Never had a problem and easier to thread than the other as we find the end doesnt fray (as much). Will continue with buying these. For what you get, price is brill, too.

Thank you for such a great thread! I find thread breaks all the time on the machine but this stuff, not once! Love it! I've since got it in other colours and will continue to do so until I have a whole collection! Yay!

Great Threads
Gutterman thread is by far the superior in threads when dressmaking. It can be expensive, especially when you sew a lot. Hobbycraft often have a 'three for two offer and even when not, their price cannot 'be beaten.
