All products and services that are supplied through Hobbycraft.co.uk are provided by Hobbycraft Trading Limited (full details of which are set out in the "Head Office" section of these terms and conditions).
You must follow our terms and conditions whenever you use, browse, register or place an order with Hobbycraft.co.uk. It is your responsibility to know what our latest terms and conditions are.

Use of our website and app
You must:
- Only use our website and app for lawful reasons
- Have our approval if you want to buy our products for a business
You must not use our website and app in a way that is against the rights of anyone else, or that stops or limits how it is enjoyed by others.
We are not to blame for any loss or damage to you for anything that you use on our website and app.
We own or license all of the rights on our website and app, which includes copyright.
You can only use, download and print our content for your own personal use or in-house business reasons. We must agree in writing before you can use our content for anything else. If you do not have our written agreement, you cannot:
- Copy, reproduce, use or deal with any of our website and app content
- Modify or share any of our website and app content for any reason
- Reproduce, crawl or frame our website and app from anywhere else

Account Information
You must tell us about any changes to your account information in ‘My Account’. You can also amend these details by contacting our Customer Services team on 0330 026 1400 from Monday to Sunday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, or alternatively email the Customer Services team via our Ask a Question button on the contact us page.
Website and app user testing
Participants recruited for user testing must be over 18 years old or over. The testing will be delivered by a third party software and may include a recording of the session. Personal details, including your email address, will only be used by Hobbycraft to send gift cards (if relevant) and to invite you to participate in future user testing.
Products
Product Descriptions
We always try to give you the most up-to-date product information but sometimes we do get it wrong. This can include:
- Not having the right details for the product
- Different product packaging than shown
- Changes in the product colour*
- Showing the wrong amount of stock**
*This can be caused by differences on your computer screen or device as the actual colour of the product may be different from our website and app. Some product pages have colour swatches. Please use them as a guide only as they do not show the exact colour of the products.
**The amount of stock that we show on the website and app is a guide. We will confirm the amount of stock that we have when we confirm your order.
We may not process your order if we notice that the product information on our website and app is wrong when you place it.
Product Pricing
Where possible we try and have the same prices online as in store however some prices do differ between online and in store. Stock may also differ between our website/app and stores which may continue to hold discontinued stock and our website/app does stock special online-only products that won’t be stocked in stores.
Product Purchasing
There is no contract between you and Hobbycraft when you place an order on our website and app. We will manage your order only when you have received a confirmation email from us.

Product Reviews
You will receive an invitation via email to review a product that you bought from us either in store or online. This invitation will be sent 7 days after purchase.
We work with Bazaarvoice to ensure the authenticity of our product reviews.
By leaving a review you will be automatically entered into a free monthly prize draw to win a £50 Hobbycraft e-voucher. The winner will be notified by email within seven days of the prize draw taking place. If a winner is not contactable or does not claim their prize through acknowledged communication with Hobbycraft within 14 days of notification, then Hobbycraft reserves the right to reallocate the prize to another winner who will be selected at random and notified.
The winner will be asked for permission to use their details such as name or nickname, city and review for marketing and publicity activities on Hobbycraft official channels.
Age Restricted Products
Legislation prohibits the sale of certain products to persons under certain ages, these products are, but not exclusively:
- Party Poppers, fireworks and cracker snaps
- Solvents, i.e. glues, marker pens and correction fluid
- Knives and other bladed articles (Including scissors but not compasses)
- Aerosol paints
- Christmas crackers
- Helium
The Hobbycraft policy on age restricted sales is that the minimum age for restricted items is “18” irrespective of the legal requirements, e.g. the legal age for aerosols is 16. All age restricted products listed on Hobbycraft.co.uk and on our app will be marked as age restricted and by purchasing these items you are confirming that you are over 18.
You or another person present will need to be 18 or over to obtain any age restricted items and will be asked your year of birth. If you look under 25, please be prepared to show a valid passport or driving licence when the item is delivered or collected.
Gift Cards
- You can use a Hobbycraft gift card or e-voucher to shop in store, on our website and our app.
- You don’t have to spend the full amount on the card. Your order cost will be taken from the balance of your gift card or e-voucher until it is zero.
- You can top-up a gift card in any of our stores from £5 up to any amount.
- You can buy Hobbycraft gift cards online from £5 up to £500.
- You will have 24 months after the last time that you use a gift card or e-voucher to make a purchase or top-up the value before it runs out.
- We are not responsible for your gift card or e-voucher if it is lost, stolen or damaged.
- Your gift card or e-voucher belongs to Hobbycraft Trading Limited. It is not a cheque guarantee, credit or charge card.
- Gift cards and e-vouchers cannot be re-sold and you cannot swap it for cash or have a refund.
- Gift cards amd e-vouchers cannot be bought in conjunction with money-off vouchers or promotional codes.
Promotion Codes
Valid promotion codes may be used on hobbycraft.co.uk, our app and in Hobbycraft stores. To redeem the discount online, please enter the promotion code on the Basket page. Discounts and promotions online are only valid for orders delivered within the UK. Discounts will not be applied to delivery charges. Discounts and promotions may not be exchanged for cash and are non-transferable. Promotion codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount offer or deal. Discounts and promotions may not be used to purchase sewing machines, some digital crafting machines or gift cards. Promotion codes may only be used once per customer. Hobbycraft reserves the right to terminate discounts at any time.
Orders
Charity Donations in our Checkout
At the end of checkout, if you have paid by payment card, you will be given the opportunity to make a charity donation to our chosen charity, Together for Short Lives, enabled by the Pennies charity. This works as follows:
- If you wish to donate you can select the donation amount on the ‘Thank you for your order’ page
- The donation will be charged to the same payment card you have used during the checkout
- The donation is a separate transaction to your Hobbycraft online purchase and will show as a separate transaction with Pennies in your banking records
- Every penny you give goes to charity. 95% goes to Together for Short Lives (registered charity no. 1144022) and 5% to Pennies (registered charity no. 1122489)
- Any donations you make to charity in connection with your order or purchase will not be refunded in the event that you exercise your right to cancel your order
Order Data
When you place an order with us, you can go to 'My Account' at any time to browse your order history. We have a privacy promise to keep all of your data safe and secure, as set out in our Privacy Policy.
Order Confirmation
We will send you a receipt of your order in an email. Please read and check the details carefully to make sure that they are correct.
If the details are not right, or if you need any help, please contact our Customer Services team on 0330 026 1400 from Monday to Sunday, between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm, or alternatively email the Customer Services team via our Ask a Question button. We will need to know any changes to your details before we send your order or it may be delayed.
Delivery
We are not responsible for any delay in delivery if you are not there to collect your order when it arrives. It is your responsibility to tell our courier company to arrange re-delivery or collection.

Instructions
The 15% Hobbycraft Club new member discount offer is available only when advertised. When joining the Hobbycraft Club in store, on our app or online, a 15% discount code will be added to your app account if you have one and sent to you by email if you have opted in to receive emails once you have completed the signup process.

Instructions
To qualify for a £2 voucher you must join the Hobbycraft Club in a Hobbycraft store advertising the offer and show your The Works’ club card or account at the till point.
You will be given a paper slip showing your single use £2 voucher discount code. This voucher code will not be sent to you by email and will not appear in your app account.
The voucher can only be redeemed in store. To redeem, please present the paper slip at the till point.
Terms and Conditions
- The offer will only be issued to new Hobbycraft Club Members
- The voucher is valid until 30th April 2024
- The voucher can be redeemed in any Hobbycraft store; it cannot be redeemed on our app or online

To qualify for your Club exclusive £5 birthday voucher you must be a member of the Hobbycraft Club, have provided your birthday details on our app, online or in store, and have an account on the Hobbycraft app or be opted in to receive Hobbycraft emails. To set up a new account or to log in to an existing account, please go to My Account.
On the day of your birthday your £5 voucher will be added to your app account if you have one and sent to you by email if you are opted in to receive Hobbycraft emails.

Free Prize Draw Entries
Instructions
Hobbycraft Club members will be automatically entered into a free monthly prize draw to win one of five £100 Hobbycraft e-gift cards every time they make a purchase.
Entries will be assigned to the prize draw relating to the month the purchase took place, e.g. a purchase on 1st January 2023 will be included within the January 2023 prize draw.
Terms and conditions
- This prize draw is only available to Hobbycraft Club members
- You will get one entry into the draw for:
- Each complete transaction you make where your reward card is swiped in store; or
- Each complete transaction you make on our app whilst signed in to your account using your email address which you registered as Club member;
or - Each complete transaction you make online whilst signed in to your account using your email address which you registered as Club member
- The numbers of entries into the prize draw are not limited
- There is a purchase necessary to enter this prize draw
- The closing date of each monthly prize draw will take place on the last day of each calendar month
- There are 5 x £100 Hobbycraft e-Gift Cards to win in each prize draw. Five winners will be selected at random from all individuals who meet clause one and two of these terms and conditions within seven days of the draw closing date
- The winners will be sent their prize e-gift card by email within fourteen days of the prize draw taking place

VIP Discount Events
Instructions
Club Members will be notified of upcoming VIP discount day/s by email or notifications if you have our app. The email will contain a voucher code, which can be used to obtain a discount on the day of the event. This discount code voucher will also be added to your app account if you have one.
To redeem in store, please present the discount email at the till point.
When redeeming on our app, please ensure that you are logged into your account using the email address with which you registered as a club member. In the basket tap View Your Rewards and then tap the Apply to Basket button next to the voucher.

Loyalty Vouchers
Instructions
Every time you shop instore or online, we’ll keep track of every penny - this includes transactions that have been made on our app, at Hobbycraft.co.uk or in any Hobbycraft Store from the date you are enrolled into the scheme
In order for us to track your spend, you must ensure your Hobbycraft Club card is swiped when shopping in store. When shopping on our app or online you must login using the email address you originally used to register. Transactions cannot be added post purchase
After you have been enrolled and spent a further £50, we'll issue a £2.50 voucher to your app account and by email within 7-21 days.
If you spend £100 or more (taking into account any accumulated spend) we’ll issue multiple vouchers in your app account and in one email (up to a maximum of six vouchers for any single purchase)
Any remaining balance you have earned which has not qualified for a voucher (up to a maximum of £49.99) will be carried forward towards your next voucher.
We can only issue vouchers to you if you have an account on our app or are opted in to Hobbycraft emails.
We’ll send you regular balance updates in your app account and by email so that you know how close you are to receiving your voucher.
Spending Your Vouchers

Social Media Giveaways
These terms and conditions (“T&Cs”) apply to any giveaway carried out by Hobbycraft Trading Limited, 7 Enterprise Way, Aviation Park, Bournemouth International Airport, Christchurch, Dorset, Bh43 6HG (“Hobbycraft”) via social media including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
Terms and conditions
- Entry is open to residents of the UK except employees (and their families) of Hobbycraft, the suppliers of the prizes and any other companies associated with the Giveaway
- All Entrant(s) must be aged 18 or over as of the date of entry
- Any Entrant who is under the age of 18 on the day they enter the Giveaway must obtain permission from their parent or guardian, and before entering their parent and guardian must agree to these terms and conditions
- Entry to the Giveaway will be via the relevant Hobbycraft social media account
- Entry to the Giveaway must be made via the defined Entry mechanic and before the Giveaway closure date/time. Both will be defined in the relevant post on the applicable Hobbycraft social media account
- Unless otherwise stated, no purchase is necessary to enter a Giveaway
- The Prizes are as stated, are not transferable to another individual and no cash or other alternatives will be offered
- Prizes are subject to availability and the Prize suppliers’ terms and conditions
- Hobbycraft reserve the right to amend or alter the terms of competitions and reject entries from entrants not entering into the spirit of the competition
- In the event of a prize being unavailable, Hobbycraft reserves the right to offer an alternative Prize of equal or greater value
- Unless stated otherwise the Winner(s) will be drawn at random from all correct entries received by the closing date stated
- Only the Winner(s) will be contacted by Hobbycraft. Their names may be published on the Hobbycraft website and social media channels, subject to consent gained at the time they were informed of being a winner
- Reasonable efforts will be made to contact the Winner(s). If the Winner(s) cannot be contacted within 7 days, or are unable to comply with these terms and conditions, Hobbycraft reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible entrant drawn at random, or in the event that the promotion is being judged, Hobbycraft reserves the right to offer the Prize to the runner(s)-up selected by the same judges
- Prizes must be dispatched to a UK postal address
- Failure to respond and/or provide an address for delivery, or failure to meet the eligibility requirements may result in forfeiture of the Prize
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook, Instagram or any other social media channel. By entering, entrants acknowledge that Facebook and Instagram do not bear any responsibility for this promotion and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, entrants release Facebook and Instagram from any liability whatsoever in connection with this promotion. All information entrants provide when they enter the promotion is provided to the Promoter and not to Facebook, Instagram or any other social media channel.
User Generated Content
In these user generated content terms and conditions ("UGC T&Cs"), "Hobbycraft", "we", "us" and "our" means Hobbycraft Trading Limited and "you" means the person providing user generated content.
If you post content, including photographs and text, to social media ("User Generated Content"), along with:
- the Hobbycraft handle of "@HobbycraftHQ"; or
- hashtags "#hobbycraft", "#MakeWithHobbycraft", "#ShareYourKnitcraft", or any other hashtags that are associated with Hobbycraft,
we may post a comment to your original social media post asking you if you accept these UGC T&Cs. By replying to our comment with the hashtag "#YesHobbycraft," you accept these UGC T&Cs.You also accept these UGC T&Cs by uploading content to any Hobbycraft website or mobile application.
You grant to us a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to exercise all intellectual property rights in your User Generated Content for our marketing, advertising or promotional purposes, including via hobbycraft.co.uk, other websites, social media channels, email, paid social media and other customer communications. You agree that we may edit, alter or combine your User Generated Content with other material.
You warrant and represent to us that:
- you are at least 18 years of age;
- you are authorised to grant the rights set out in these UGC T&Cs, including the intellectual property licence set out above; and
- our use of your User Generated Content will not violate the rights of any third party or any law.
You hereby:
- release and discharge us from any obligation to pay you for our use of your User Generated Content in accordance with these UGC T&Cs; and
- release, discharge and agree to hold Hobbycraft and any person acting on Hobbycraft’s behalf harmless from all claims, demands, and liabilities whatsoever in connection with our use of the User Generated Content in accordance with these UGC T&Cs.
Bazaarvoice provides social content management services to Hobbycraft and facilitates the collection of User Generated Content on behalf of Hobbycraft. Hobbycraft is the data controller and Bazaarvoice is the data processor. Our privacy policy is available at www.hobbycraft.co.uk/help-centre/further-info/privacy-policy.html. and Bazaar Voice's privacy policy is available at www.bazaarvoice.com/legal/privacy-policy.
If you wish to make a complaint about User Generated Content, for example that it is objectionable, in breach of your copyright or you would otherwise like it removed, please contact customerservices@hobbycraft.co.uk. You acknowledge that, while we have control over our own posts, where User Generated Content is posted on third party sites we may not be able to require the third party to remove the User Generated Content. In such cases, you will need to contact the third party directly.
App Exclusive £2 Voucher
Instructions
The app exclusive £2 voucher offer is available only to selected customers. If you are selected, we will let you know by email, if you are opted in to receive our marketing emails.
To access your app exclusive £2 voucher you will need to download the free Hobbycraft app and register. The app is available in the App Store and Google Play. Your app exclusive £2 voucher will be added to your app account automatically. To access your voucher in the app, tap Account and then View Your Rewards.
To redeem in store, please show the voucher in your app account at the till point.
When redeeming on our app, please ensure that you are logged in. In the basket tap View Your Rewards and then tap the Apply to Basket button next to the voucher.
When redeeming online, please ensure you are logged in with the same details you have used on the app. Enter the discount code into the promotion code box at the checkout.

National Craft Month - £5 off £15 voucher
Instructions
To qualify for exclusive early access to the £5 off £15 voucher you must be a member of the Hobbycraft Club and have an account on the Hobbycraft app.
To redeem in store, please show the voucher in your app account or email or quote HC5OFF15 at the till point.
To redeem on our app, please ensure that you are logged into your account using the email address with which you registered as a club member. In the basket tap View Your Rewards and then tap the Apply to Basket button next to the voucher, or enter HC5OFF15 into the discount code box in your basket.
To redeem online, please ensure you are logged into your account using the email address which you registered as a club member with and enter the discount code into the promotion code box at the checkout.
Terms and conditions
- The voucher is valid from date of issue until 23:59 on 31st March 2024
- The voucher can be redeemed in any Hobbycraft store, on our app or at Hobbycraft.co.uk
- The voucher can be used on any single transaction of £15.00 or more
- Delivery charges for online orders do not count towards the £15.00 qualifying amount
- Purchases made below the value of the voucher (£5) will not receive cash or a voucher for the difference in store or online
- The voucher can only be used once, and must be used by you
- The promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount voucher code - but it can be used alongside a subscription benefit discount
