Great value
I bought this wool, not for the first time, to make a baby blanket, its great value been on the buy 2 get one free offer and there is so much on the ball not like some balls that run out really soon or have a cardboard insert that makes you look like you have more. I like the wool for the range of colours and the sheen it has to it. The only downside I have come across is that it can vary in thickness, on this occasion the cream wool been thicker than the blues but this is ok for me as my project is a blanket but if you were making a garment this could make all the difference to the end sizing.

Lovely yarn to knit with but uses twice the amount than other yarns
I have used this yarn to knit a jumper for my husband, using a pattern and size etc that I have used 3 times in the past. The pattern says 4x100g balls, and the other jumpers have only used that amount. I was, therefore, surprised to find that the back and front, alone, took all 4 balls! Have had to buy more to complete the jumper. On checking, I discovered that the yarn only has 270m per 100g ball compared to 410g in the equivalent 100g ball of acrylic yarn. I would have liked a note on the shelf to warn people that they will require almost double the yarn than the pattern calls for.

Womens Institute Soft and Silky Yarn
I purchased some of this yarn and I am disappointed with it. When knitting, it separates which makes it difficult when trying to find the correct loop. There were a lot of knots in it too. I expect a few but these were every few yards. The finished article was very nice and 'soft and silky' but getting there was the difficulty.
If you are willing to put up with the flaws I've mentioned, then the result is good but I wont be buying any more of this yarn. I have given it 3 stars because of the finished garment, otherwise it would have been 1 or 2 at the most.

Good sturdy soft acrylic
This yarn feels very soft in the skein, but feels very synthetic and sort of "squeaky" when knitting with it. However the finished fabric is smooth and wearable, and for the price point very nice. It has a lovely stitch definition and would look great for cabling projects. However, it is definitely a sport weight, not a fingering weight, and I actually got gauge for a DK weight pattern with it

Tangles and splits easily
Some of the worst yarn I’ve knit with it knots easily and splits and don’t every try and rewind the ball! Such as shame as it has a lovely drape once knitted up and looks good.
