Awful yarn
I love crochet amigurumi projects and thought this would be perfect instead of using my usual ricorumi yarn. I was wrong. It splits far to easily for the smaller projects and was not a pleasure to work with at all.

Absolute garbage yarn!! Splits continually and twists even when removing hook at end of working in the round.

It works but it's flimsy
I bought this to replace the Sirdar happy cotton which is great quality but far overpriced. I'm not terribly disappointed with this as it is only £1 and looks decent if you have the patience to work properly with it. It does get heavily twisted but it didn't bother me massively. The yarn is quite flimsy though whereas what you want for an amigurumi yarn is a little sturdier. Maybe make it a little thicker and add 50p onto the price?

Awful!
I know this yarn is only £1 but I expected better quality than what you actually get. This yarn is split and tangles up as soon as you remove the yarn band! I will use it all because I don’t like waste but I will not be buying it again - not even for £1! I bought this yarn to make little red, white and blue crochet flowers for a wreath and wish I had spent a bit more and bought some Drops Muskat which is fab.

which hook!?
Im confused at what hook.to use. the yarn suggests 4mm, which has to be incorrect!? most patterns provided by HC ise 2.5mm hook instead.
Lastly, the yarn is very loose and untwists which can make it fiddly to work with. great appearance if you have the patience though!

A real dissapointment
As you work the threads untwist and the yarn tangles as it tries to retwist, a nightmare to work with and really stressful. Such a disappointment as it looked like a really good value option.

Looks great
I love this yarn. I've used it for amigurumi, making flowers and wreaths and find it much easier to work with than other cotton yarns.

This yarn was very heavily spun, and twisted as I used it. It is not an easy yarn to use.
