Nice kit, but you need to be experienced to build
I'm being critical here. The tracks are poor, the photo etch limited. Some spur gates are poorly designed and you can't get snips in. Some very small parts. Older more experienced modeller only should go for this kit. Some fine weld detail, but limited. Errors in instructions.

Another Gem from AFV Club.
Afv Club have been providing some lovely kits lately and the Scimitar is no exception. Based on the same molds as the Scorpion, the Scimitar is a tidy addition to any 1/35 British line-up.
Well molded runners with excellent detail, goods parts fit and fairly decent instructions. A small fret of photo-etched brass for the really fine stuff and a metal barrel tops of a lovely kit to build. Finished off with some water slide decals and ready for display. 8/10.

Expensive but worth the cost
Great model, easy enough to put together. The only downside of this kit is decal placement instructions and limited decaling schemes. Small amount of photo etch makes it easier for novices.

Never again will purchase this make, poor instructions weak sprues and poor quality plastic, strange it turned out ok in the end but bever again back to tamiya

Nice model but disappointingly too similar to Scorpion model, in fact a lot of the same parts. But easy to make and instructions quite clear.
