This Airfix Curtiss P-40B Warhawk Model Kit brings a classic military aircraft to life.

The P-40 served the United States Army Air Force throughout the Second World War, fighting in Europe, across Asia and in the deserts of North Africa. While not as manoeuvrable as the Japanese Mitsubishi Zero, or as fast as the German Messerschmitt Bf109, the P-40B still proved to be a tough opponent. Pilots liked the fact it could often get them home after sustaining heavy damage, as well as being able to inflict it with its armament of six machine guns.

With an eye-catching livery, sprues and decals as well as measuring 134.5mm in length, this is the perfect addition to any military or aircraft collection! It’s 1:72 scale and is ideal for anyone interested in historic aircrafts from the Second World War.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Plasticsurgeon from Pearl Harbour defender A great kit of the early version of P-40 Warhawk. My two kits built as an RAF Desert aircraft, and a USAAF Pearl Harbour defender. Recessed surface detail, great fit of parts, accurate shape - all stuff that I like. My only dislike - very fragile guns moulded onto the wing fronts.

Rated 4 out of 5 by andy012 from building a Curtiss P-40b Warhawk Its a good little kit of the aircraft, it is based on the aircraft that was based at pearl harbour, it goes together well and comes with the option of having the landing gear up or down depending on what battle scene you want to put the model in when it is complete, it comes with a good decal sheet of the aircraft based at pearl harbour.
