Fantastic Kit
Having built the old Airfix kit of the same aircraft a few years ago, it's great to see what a massive improvement this is over its predecessor. The kit features loads of crisp detail, and some great options to show more detail within the aircraft, including cockpit components and open gun bays. These are the kind of things you'd only expect to find in bigger kits (1:48 for example) Markings look to be of a good quality too. I haven't built it yet, so can't comment on how everything fits together, but from the quality of the parts, I dont anticipate problems. I look forward to building this immensely.

Superb model with great detail
I bought this model kit recently and haven't built it yet, but first impressions are of a highly detailed and very representative Typhoon. The cockpit detail looks good and I was particularly pleased that some interior features of the cannon bays can be shown. Highly recommend the kit, as a step up from the Airfix of my youth!

Disappointing...
Poorly tooled, fitted together badly and needed a lot of adjustment. Even then wasn't great. Painted terribly which was odd as I had used the same paints on other models and they had been fine.
Decals really poor. Some just wouldn't apply at all and the D-Day stripes aren't really fit for purpose. They're very large and cumbersome to wrap round the wings and fuselage, whilst at the same time not being strong enough to enable fitting easily. The wing ones both split whilst being applied and even then were too long as well i.e. there was extra after fitting around the wing.
Clearly a lot of effort had gone into the design for extra cockpit detail (pointless as you can't see it when you've assembled it) and in a couple of other places, it's a shame that fundamentals like fit and decent decals were ignored.
Overall disappointed

Nice kit
Built well OOB, apart from some carving to get the propeller boss/mount into the fuselage. Even at this scale the Typhoon looks a purposeful aircraft.
