Perfect range of sizes for a starter kit
I recently started work on a dolls house left half finished by my dad. This was an amazing start with making furniture & bits for the house. All the sizing was just what I needed & allowed me to ‘try my hand’ at carpentry.!!! Well done.

NOT what I wanted!! The picture shows blocks of balsa which is why I ordered it! I needed uniform blocks that where all the same size not random pieces of wood!
The picture should show the actual pack more accurately, maybe I could swap with the person that got the 15 blocks!!?

Picture misleading
If your expecting to get what's in the picture save your money its just small strips of balsa and not blocks as advertised in the image

Versatile balsa pack
Picked up the pack using click and collect - easy and no problems. Initially slightly disappointed that the pack contained some bulky thick pieces of balsa. As I was buying for my grandson's 5th birthday I really wanted more thinner slices. However, I found that it was easy to slice the offending pieces using a saw so the problem was easily solved

Misleading, terrible ‘contents May vary’
Terrible. I’m co fused as to whilst the ‘contents may vary’ most people in the reviews are getting the same poor product that I received containing sticks that will only be useful for lighting fires. I appreciate contents may vary but at least put more pictures up showing the varying contents rather than the blocks in the photo. It’s advertised for wood craft and short of gluing the sticks together to make something there is very little purpose to this being sold. If it’s off it’s fine but this sure seems more like a scam and especially ally for £12

Pretty poor.
I bought this in the hopes of getting a good variety of balsa wood to assist with a project I'm working on. The description does say that the contents may vary but I didn't expect to get 15 pieces that were exactly the same.

Real balsawood!!
After being let down twice online by companies selling "balsawood" which clearly wasn't it was wonderful to be able to get back into Hobbycraft. This pack contains a good selection of pieces of different sizes. Great value

Poor description
Bought this as I wanted blocks as shown in the photo. When it arrived it was just a pack of random sized pieces - mainly thin sheets so totally unusable. Therefore description is woefully inadequate and misleading.
