I bought this product from two different hobby craft stores on seperate days , and found there was a difference in quality , for me both were fine for what I wanted but one length was so soft it just flaked when trying to cut it where as the other was a lot more firm , so depending on what you want it for check the softness ect. before you buy. Lastly these are also more expensive than other model shops but the advantage is they do normally have plenty on the shelf.

Perfect for mounting Warhammer for spray painting
Perfect for mounting Warhammer miniature figures on when spray painting. I used blutack to stick them on and they worked great for the purpose. Though I noticed it looks a bit filmsy and I'll have to take care not to accidentally snap it. Love it that hobbycraft sells all these odd parts and pieces that one can rummage through for a specific need like that.

Not what I bought
I was sold a hard wood, it was not balsa. It was labelled as balsa in a big pile. When I went to use it, it turns out it was not. I tried calling but no answer to tell them
