A special viable for the tree
My grandson loves painting so these were ideal to take when we looking after him in the holidays. Reasonably easy but we found standing on a mug was easier than trying to paint while holding them.

Bad quality
This years stock is awful. I have had to return many boxes as I cannot use them. I create personalised baubles but cannot use them. Have had to shop elsewhere.

Gorgeous Baubles
Whilst I haven’t actually decorated these yet, I can’t wait to do so. They’re such a great size and superb quality I just couldn’t resist purchasing (after seeing lots of Pinterest Inspiration!) and I’m thoroughly impressed with the Baubles. Cant wait to decorate them ... just the difficult task of deciding what to do to them!

what has happened to the quality!??
I have a small business where I personalise and sell these baubles since 2021. Since then I have purchased close to a thousand of these via Hobbycraft. The issue I have is that year-on-year the quality is degrading, to the point where this years batch are completely un-usable. They are absolutely shocking. There's chunks out of them, there's lumps of extra ceramic stuck to them - but the worst part is that there is a weird coating on them this year. Which means that any efforts to try to take the lumps off with sandpaper etc are futile, as nothing can penetrate this coating. I have hundreds of baubles sitting in my studio that are now being returned and I will be finding another supplier.
If you're buying these to decorate yourself as a craft, you might be ok with the quality - if you're a small business like myself, these are NOT good enough to sell anymore. I would be horrified to receive these as a customer.
Hobbycraft, sort this quality issue out - you're going to have tonnes of returns and complaining customers this year.

Excellent!
I was searching for baubles that are easy to paint to make some Christmas name tags this year. Quick trip to Cambridge store before closing and I grabbed 2 boxes! They are brilliant! I have painted them different colours and written names and they are just how I imagined. Extremely good value for £6! Very happy and I will definitely return for more!

Price reflects product
I bought these to personalise and because they're ceramic which is a sustainable material so better for the environment. At £3 - average price of £1 per bauble, the quality is okay. They're not smooth - by that I mean there are bumbs on them (I bought 6 packs & all are like this) The twine that is used it inconsistent, thick on some, so thin on others that it could snap. - I will be removing these and replacing for more aesthetically pleasing rope/cord.
All in all, average price. Average product. Perfect for customisation.

Great value
Love these ceramic Baubles - They're beautiful and great value for money. As they are ceramic the occasional Bauble has some bubbling or slight cracking but doesn't affect the overall appearance/quality - just the nature of the material!
Overall really happy with this product and always come back to hobbycraft every year to buy these!
