Not as good as I hoped
I was using indigo fabric. Didn't leave a clear mark. Needed to go over the mark's. Needed to sharpen the pen a lot. Not good value at £4

Worked really well
I used it to mark out writing for hand embroidery. I had to press really hard to make it show up but it lasted right through the sewing process. Didn’t need to wash it off as it was covered by the thread and almost worn off.

Dreadful product
I’ve previously bought one of these water soluble marker pens and it snapped in half. I thought I would try again. However the pen doesn’t sharpen easily and the mark left is unrecognisable. At £4 I would expect mire

Pen not useful as mark does not vanish!
This was marketed as air vanishing pen but it doesn’t vanish unless you wet it! I bought it to draw templates on a cotton baby quilt but decided it was not worth potentially ruining my quilt!

Barely shows on tapestry
This pencil works okay, but I could not get it to show up on the tapestry I'm using to make curtains. I think it will be fine on cotton, but doesn't work on anything shiny.

This product is easier than chalk piece.
I bought this chalk pencil as i don't get on with a normal chalk piece so thought i'd give this product a chance and it is so much easier to use. Glad i bought it now .

Water soluble pencil
Water soluble pencil marks fabric clearly and cleanly, but vanishes with a drop of water. Brilliant for marking dark fabrics, for quilting or sewing lines.
