If you need an adhesive that is not messy... rolls on easily and bonds well... then look no further! It's dry, so no chance of wet patches on your craft work. It's strong, so on some crafts you only need a little roll. I even brought an extra one for my son to take to school with him, makes sticking in those printout sheets much easier for him! Negative: sometimes if enough pressure is not used the adhesive only comes off on one side. But just make sure your press and roll firmly and this shouldn't be a problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by samr176 from poorly made I bought these as a change to my usual permanent glue roller as they have more length for the same money, however this product is not fit for purpose. I bought 3 of them as I'm making wedding invites and after 10mins the 1st one started falling apart, the sides came undone whilst being used and the tape kept coming off its roller. So I opened the 2nd one only to have exactly the same problem. I returned them back to hobbycraft and they could clearly see the problem and changed them back to my original preference which work great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Possum2 from This tape runner has the longest amount of tape in comparison to other tape runners sold in Hobbycraft I have bought this product before and if pressed too hard the plastic breaks at point of contact. I have found that as the tape gets used the harder it is to use the tape as a runner and this last one I bought became too hard and so I took the product back to try another brand for the same value but less tape.

Initially it sticks, but go back a few hours later, everything has become unstuck. I am now using a glue pen I bought when making my wedding invitations 9 years ago. I definitely do t recommend.

Rated 2 out of 5 by LaBE06 from Always jams and stops working half way through I bought it because it was a lot of metres on one roll. But it is really terrible. The glue always gets stuck so you have to keep manually moving the roller to get it to work. I only bought it a couple weeks ago and hardly used it and it suddenly broke. The lid didn't stay on very well and the glue wouldnt come out. I had the same problems when I tried it for the first time. I thought I should give it the benefit of the doubt and try again. But I did the same. I'd rather go with the cheaper one which give me 2 extra metres for the same price. And they actually work.
