Don't buy for UK size
If I hadn't used it to try it I would have returned it.
I don't know why Hobbycraft are selling these in the UK - you won't find any card blanks that actually fit it and work out of the box unless you buy Cricut brand cards at which point enjoy your wasted money. Don't buy this if you're looking to use for UK size cards as simply don't work; don't be like me, do your research before you buy it.

Quick and easy
I have always enjoyed making cards and this mat makes it very simple to do so. Best of all, no glueing needed, I have always found that the trickiest part to get right! You can also make your own card blanks (on a standard mat) if you wish.

Disappointing - save your money
I was excited about the card mat but it has proved to be disappointing. Despite following all the instructions online for effective use it is difficult to achieve the perfect centre alignment on the card. Additionally, I could only run through cut or foil in one go rather than being able to do both in one run. This is possibly a bug in the Design Space software. But when I attempted to cut and foil as per instructions both online and on screen within DS, the design cut off the mat. I had limited success by doing the cut amd foil separately but the whole point in the card mat is to achieve perfect alignment on the card. Wish I hadn't waited so long to try it out as I will now be too late to return it.

Great little piece of equipment
Great piece of equipment. Enables four cards to be done at the same time thereby cutting down on time

Useful Mat
This mat (with practice) I think will be beneficial. 1 drawback is that it will not take everyday blank cards. (of which I have a stock) Cricut blank insert cards are pricey for it so I have to cut the cards to size ( a size chart is available) but having said that I think I will use it more when I get used to it. I am hoping to do my niece's wedding invites so hope this will make the task easier.

Not as good as the Joy card mat
Have used a few times - card completely stuck to the mat and rips whenever try to remove, however gently. Have used card mat with the Cricut Joy, so not new to it and was excited to get one for the Maker. Doesn’t matter what card I use - ends up ripping.

Disappointed with the service
I picked up my first one from the store and it had a corner snapped off. You then sent me another one in the post, the packaging was flimsy and when it arrived, the mat was bent in half. I can't say I'm impressed with this service.

Very flimsy, but works
Works ok, however it’s very flimsy and one corner at the bottom snapped on first use and I was very gentle with it. It still works even with damaged corner.
