Waste of money
My daughter and I tried both of the experiments included in the kit and both were extremely disappointing. The white one developed absoluterly no crystals at all, and the yellow one hardly any. Neither looked anything like the "spiky" image on the box cover, with the yellow one only having a flat layout after around 2 months (the instructions, I think, said to allow 10-14 days).

Disappointing
Disappointing for my 6 year old daughter, who spent her pocket money on this and found the crystals didn’t resemble the pictures at all. We had a few feeble crystals attaching to the ‘seed’ crystal, but it was very underwhelming.

Doesn’t work. Waste of money.
Simply doesn’t work. No crystals despite following the instructions carefully. Two types of container in the pack but it’s unclear which to use. We tried both and neither worked. Waste of money.

Not great
My son was very excited by this, but not impressed with the end result. We've only grown 1 crystal so far and it grew a little, but the tablet thing stayed mostly whole and fell apart after the 14 days, so couldn't display it. The instructions do say the crystals will act different depending on the conditions (we grew on a window cill) so might try the dark warmer airing cupboard for the next one and see if any better.
