So much better than a pad!
Have just used this block water colour paper today. Never used block before only pads of watercolour paper but the block was far superior...no stretching and not too much bubbling up and has dried nice and flat .
I do not want to go back to pads converted to block today. All you do when the painting is dry is run a sharp knife or blade around the edge of the paper and remove to reveal a nice clean sheet beneath for your next painting. So Hobbycraft please consider stocking a greater range of sizes and qualities of the block watercolour paper.

Lovely paper
Lovely paper with a bit of texture, so if you are looking for ultra smooth, probably not the one. Good watercolours look good on this paper and soaks in just right. Also love how it’s attached all the way around. It makes it easier to work on a piece and means it won’t warp the paper.

Great quality paper
These blocks of watercolour paper are so easy to use because they are gummed along the edges. This means there is little or no buckling of the paper as you paint.

Great watercolour paper
Ideal pad for taking on holiday or if you are short of time and don't want to stretch the paper first. Great quality and a good price.

Good quality paper but slightly awkward
Really nice paper for watercolours and works well with other aqua fine products.
As the paper is on a block, it is gummed down on all four sides except for a small opening where you insert a flat knife /palette knife to top off the top layer when it's free. This is fine if you like this but worth noting if you haven't worked with this before and might find this awkward.

Great Product
I have used this product for years and all is good for me. Having gummed edges means that I do not have to stretch the paper...only the usual slight raising occurs just as it does when I stretch watercolour paper, of any brand, on board. The paper is also the right weight for me.

Supurb quality
I was really impressed with the 2 products I bought as a Christmas present for a friend. As a watercolourist myself I know what good quality paper this is. Also the shop assistant was very helpful

Perfect Watercolour Paper
A great paper pad for watercolours. Gum sealed so the pages do not buckle when wet.
Textured but not too textured. Creates a lovely finish to watercolour paint.
