daler rowney ingres pads
one of the standard papers for soft pastels, chalk, charcoal.....most dry media holds multiple layers really well. also allows for lots of blending without damaging the surface.
the suface has a faint thin texture or lines running across one side of the pages and reverse is less textured (in portrait format).
each sheet is interleaved with tracing paper which is a great for protection.
colours are good range of values ranging from light neutrals to dark (warm and cool greys).

Pastel Perfect
I have only just started venturing into the World of Art.... and cannot afford to be frivolous, so this was me taking a chance on resources, in a world I know little about... but this is just great and not expensive in my opinion....and as others say to me, DO buy the best that you can.

Paper for pastel drawing
This product is just what I required. A pad of just one colour paper would have been good but you did not have on the shelf, however this was no problem as it had examples of all wished for colours.

This is a good paper to draw on with the soft pastels and pastel pencils. The thin protective sheet between each page the image is not smudged or transferred to the other page

I have these in all sizes as I find they are perfect for the work I do holding the many layers of oil pastels well. Great selection on colours too.
