This is my go-to watercolour pad
I love this paper so much. It's rough cotton watercolour paper which, before I purchased a smaller version of this, I had never tried before. It's got a lovely texture and east to apply paint to. I've been using this for a while now. Only criticism is that there should be more pages.

Good for dry brush technique and texture
I found the surface was quite hard to use for wet in wet as the paper gave resistance so soon learned to wet the paper first then it worked well also allowed myself to use more pigment

excellent rough watercolour paper
The paper is high quality, strong and willing and, being rough, leaves an interesting finish to a completed painting. Good value for an amateur such as myself.

Very good quality paper
My daughter does a number of water colour workshops, and has been told to get good quality, course / rough paper to get the best effects from the techniques they are leaning
This the best papaer we haev found so far for her water colours, its not cheap, but i have found you get what you pay for in these types of paper.

Rough cotton
This watercolour paper is tough and because it's a cotton based paper not pulp it copes better with watercolour washes.
The paper has a "tooth" due to its rough surface so good for dry brushwork on landscapes
Gets a five star rating from me

My Best Watercolour Paper
After trying many different watercolour papers over the years, I have settled on only using Langton paper. However, the Langton Prestige is another level. It is, without a doubt, the best paper I have found and works for me every time.

Good quality
As I am a novice watercolour painter, although I have bought sheets of 100% cotton paper, I also wanted the convenience of prepared gummed pad. Fair price, good quality. Will buy again.
