professional soft but with the required neat edge.
This paper is suitable for all levels from the very early enthusiastic begineer to an artist embracing an image and portraying it in art to preserve its beauty for ever. The paper has neat crisp professional edges hiding the softness of the paper that allows the blending of media and leaving the meeting of colors invisible, rubbing continuslly with foam and dampened fingers is of the past a gentle brush or swipe of the finger and colours become one.

Good all round support for pastels.
The Murano pastel paper I purchased was 12" x 9" and had a good range in the neutral colours. The rather bright green was rather overpowering for my style of work and would have preferred it to be toned down a little. Other shades of the paper were most acceptable The texture on both sides was excellent and I use both soft pastels, pastel pencils and charcoal. 160 g.s.m is sufficient and at a reasonable price for a quality paper..

Pastel paper--ideal surface for loose working
Pastel work is something new for me, but I loved the effect the texture allowed me to get , probably cheaper online, but then you have postage and it's nice to see what you are buying. Will probably be back the week end for a stay wet palette.
