Intense & gorgeous
I love the vibrancy and intensity the pencils ink gives off. The ink activates instantly to give a really rich colour & it pulls really well and can blend, I'm not the best practised at blending yet.
The pencils are just a little chunky, you need a knife or a jumbo sharpener.
I've used them in a couple of multi-media pieces so far.
I'm very much a beginner so please don't judge the pics too harshly. The pair of eyes images, the eyes themselves are Inktense with.the skin in Goldfaber Aqua & the picture of the woman is done with the fiery background and some detailing in Inktense. The base of her face is in assorted alcohol ink markers.

lovely product intense colours
I have really enjoyed using these pencils, When you add water the colours are really intense and vibrant. My only suggestion is that there should be instructions on how to use them. I did not know you had to use a paint brush with water and you don;t dip the pencils in water... which I did do, and still liked them, but definitely much more control and better result using them correctly.. some simple instructions on the packaging would help although I found useful advice on Youtube afterwards when I realised it wasn't easy to use them with the pencil dipped in water...

Fantastic Watercolour Pencils for Fabric Painting
I have just tested these out-using them on calico fabric. They are really fantastic, don't bleed round the edges and the colours are intense and solid and don't stain really strongly on the other side of the fabric. You can also draw very solid lines with them when you dip them in water. I used a Daler Rowney 'System Three" Round brush size 4 which I dipped into water and took the paint straight from the pencil lead and painted it onto the fabric that way. Just make sure you don't hold the pencil over the fabric when you are doing this though or you will get splashes on the fabric-which I did first time! I'm am using them in collaboration with free-motion machine embroidery.

Superb product
I buy these pencils to use with my adult drawing classes. More expensive than other aquarelle pencils but they are in a different league giving fantastic results. The students love using them and they are very versatile, and can be used as a straight colour pencil with water added afterwards if required, or you can draw into a wet surface or dip the pencil in water before drawing to create a unique and interesting drawn line. They are often on offer at Hobbycraft but worth it at full price. You get what you pay for.

Incredible colours
I love these pencils, one the ways I use them is to make neoprene stamps, cutting out foam shapes and drawing in them to create textures, then I use the inktense pencils on the slightly wettened foam, to make subtle prints.
They are very versatile.

Super bright
Small set brought for trial of this type of watercolour pencil. Great that these can be used both ways, with water or without, leaves good coat of coverage when even gently placed on paper. Doesn't take lots of water to break down the pigment & get it to give you a good coverage, the colours stay true to the shades even when wet. Impressed by this range.

Fantastic amount of pigment
Although Inktense pencils seem to be more subtle in pigmentation than the blocks, they still pack a serious punch.
Easy to blend too

Versatile and vibrant pencils
Very happy with this set. I've used the watercolour pencils from Derwent before but this set gives it an extra wow effect - the colours are super vibrant and you can even use them on textiles !
