Lovely kit but fractional stitches everywhere
Couldn’t resist a Jasmine kit when I saw it. The kit is incredibly generous with thread, there was never a danger of running out. The chart is large which made stitching easier.
I wish I’d read the back of the box where it tells you there are fractional stitches. There are more fractionals than whole stitches so it was difficult and painful at times to stitch. The backstitching also involved forcing the needle through the fabric and at times through the centre of stitches.
Good value for money, but tricker than expected to stitch.

Contains Fractional stitches, hard to do.
I've been doing cross stitch for around 25 years and have never come across "fractional stitches" it's one cross stitch split into 4 which is very fiddley and in my opinion, messy looking.
Fortunately there is plenty of thread in the kit so I have blown it up 4 times (each fractional stitch as a whole cross stitch) to make a large version which looks great. However,
I certainly wouldn't reccomend this as an easy project for children.
