The perfect knitting book
This is a super little book, which deserves a place on the bookshelf of anybody interested in knitting. Whether you are a complete beginner, a competent knitter or, like me, you are returning to knitting after some years, this book is packed full of useful information. Superb photos of knitting skills, styles and patterns, this book will guide you step by photographic step from casting on through a variety of straightforward techniques for new projects. The guide and explanations of specific stitches in the stitch gallery is well worth reading and the size of the book ( not too big ) makes it an easy companion for a bedside table, or to be kept in your knitting basket. Don't be fooled into thinking this is just a basic knitting course. There are also tips and patterns for complex fair isle knitting, cabling and recommendations for various types of yarn and clear guides for how to use, two, four or even circular needles. This is a beautifully presented book, which will encourage and enthuse anybody who is thinking about picking up their knitting needles !

This book is perfect!!
I picked up this book because I needed to up my knitting skills (I am not very good at knitting, but my mother loves it, and I want to make her a present) and it is simply FABULOUS!! It has nice clear instructions, and images to help. It is very easy for me to understand and I have been making great progress! I love this book, and I will probably pass it down to my children (if they are interested.. My daughter might like it. She has been expressing great interest in stuff like knitting. ) But anyway, this was a brilliant purchase! I'm so glad I got it!

Perfect size to fit in a handbag and doesn't take up much space in a knitting bag.
I got this book for £4.99 when I used my birthday £5 off :)

Easy to follow, very informative
I bought this because I am teaching my granddaughter to knit, she loves it and has found lots of projects she wants to undertake, lovely that it holds her interest at times when spending time on tablets seem to be every child's hobby!

Very useful book
This very useful book has taught me some basic techniques that I needed to know in order to complete some projects I started some time ago. Diagrams are very clear to follow and book is small enough to fit in my craft bag.

Excellent book
Really easy to follow book. Within a few minutes of starting reading this book I had the basics of knitting in my head. Now I am expanding on that by working my way through this book.

Good book for beginners or as a refresher
I used to knit years ago but bought this as a refresher to start knitting again. I just wish it was spiral bound to make it easier for the page to stay open when I'm referring to it.
