So pretty but a little hard to work with
I love these metallic threads so much but they are slightly hard to work with as the individual strands separate much more easily than standard embroidery floss. I use these for bracelet making so another thing to bear in mind is that they are quite scratchy so uncomfortable for this purpose - but they're pretty enough to make up for it!

Not easy to work with
I was looking for metallic embroidery thread to cross stitch Christmas cards and bought blue and silver. The thread frays and separates really badly and is awful to stitch with. The effect is very good if you persevere but I wouldn’t like to sew a large area with it.

Lovely detail to cross stitch
This thread is a great addition to a cross stitch piece. It gives a lovely sparkle detail - i have bought a few of the colours in this range. It is not quite as easy to use as the regular embroidery thread because it is more coarse but it still works up a treat

Ideal thread with light effect
Just what I was looking for - this thread looks fantastic on the pin pricking cards I've just started doing. The light effect looks great especially on the flower patterns. Good price and make.

Good colour but terrible to sew with. Splits and snaps easily, metallic comes off of thread, wish i never bought.
