These light effects dmc threads look stunning when the design you’re incorporating them into is finished but they are a bit tricky to sew with, I’d advise using a shorter than average length (2 feet max) and as few strands as possible, otherwise it tangles itself and the glitter thread separates from the white thread that holds it together! Not enough to put me off but if you’re a begginer embroiderer I’d stick to traditional threads until you are confident!

Looks amazing!
I bought several colours in this range and I cannot complain about any of them. The coloura are lovely and clear. As for thw shimmer in the thread; I think it is perfect. A good balance between colour and shimmer. Would definitely buy it again.
The thread is more rigid than the non shimmering ones, but that was the be expected. Great product.

Good but not easy to work
The effect of this thread on embroidery is very nice but it's very difficult to work with it! Every thread split in lots of pieces and it isn't soft.
