Dragonfly mosaic tile kit
This was one of my Xmas presents. I an an accomplished crafter and I found it very difficult because some of the tiny tiles need to be cut. As they are made from hard plastic this was almost impossible, even with a sharp craft knife. I'm getting there slowly and no doubt it will look fine when it's finished. It's also very difficult to gauge how much space to leave between each tile. This product is not suitable for a child.

USE NAIL CLIPPERS TO CUT THE TILES
this was very fun and relaxing, but yes use nail clippers for the tiles as they are plastic!

Very fiddly
This was very fiddly to do. I have to admit that I have given up on mine and it is only half finished. This is because I carefully cut the little pieces and then kept dropping them as they are so tiny. In addition it was extremely difficult to stick the tiny pieces. My adult daughter on the other hand gave up on cutting the pieces, kept them whole and made a pretty dragonfly to her own design. Hers is now grouted and finished and looks lovely.

No guideline on cutting mosaic
This set only includes square tiles. But to make the dragonfly it requires pieces to be cut to shape. The instructions provide no guideline as to how to cut the squares

Rubbish kit - but stick with it!
Bit of a tale of two halves this one ........ Was super excited to do this with the kids (not tiny 10 and 13).
The kit is truly terrible 🤣
The picture shows, what I assumed were, tiles cut into various shapes. The kit contains just teeny tiny plastic squares - in very different colours to the pictures - for example, the rainbow doesn't contain any red 'tiles'.
The instructions aren't great which resulted in my daughter mucking up the sticky bit so one is missing a corner.
There are no instructions on how to cut the squares. We tried a craft knife which resulted in injury. Read the reviews and found some nail clippers......which broke.
Making the grout says 'add a bit of water......if it's too thick add a bit more water' 🤣 without knowing what consistency you want this isn't terribly handy.
My husband told me off for always buying Poundland rubbish.
HOWEVER.........we stuck with it and, to be fair, they're not too shoddy. In fact, they're pretty cute.
They took us about 45 minutes plus waiting time of about an hour.
Not for young kids. Terrible instructions. A bit frustrating. Not at all authentic. Actually makes a really nice little coaster if you can muddle through.

Super fun!
I bought this a couple months ago to do with my partner. We had loads of fun and took us a couple of hours! My partner did the turtle one. The only issue was that you had to use cutters to cut the tiny tiles to the right shape (which was quite hard and not specified on the instructions) but nevertheless we had a lot of fun!

Terrible
the tiles are tiny bits of thick plastic that are impossible to cut (it broke my industrial acrylic nail clippers) the colours are also nothing like the picture and the instructions are incredibly vague. Didn’t expect much for a fiver but this is really, really bad

Coaster Tile
The tiles were much smaller than I thought they would be. It was hard to get them to line up neatly on the tile. You also have to cut the tiles to make the pattern. It is hard to cut them neatly and they wouldn’t cut with normal scissors.
