Beautifully rich colour
I've used this dye a piece of cream cotton/linen fabric to make a pair of trousers. The result surpassed my expectations. The colour is rich, even and very on-trend for the current season. I have another pod and I'll be putting it to good use too.

Interesting finish to the trousers I dyed
Very good instructions. I haven’t dyed anything for years and the last time I did it I had to use a lot of salt to fix the colour. Fortunately the container had salt included. The only issue I had was reading the instructions which are minuscule. I took a bit of a risk using this dye on my trousers because there was a higher proportion of synthetic fiber than was recommended. However I really like the finished article even though it didn’t turn out to be a true plum colour! It actually made the material look more expensive!

Dye
The colour is good but it didn't dye my devet cover evenly. I had to use several packs and still it didn't work successfully. It made the process very expensive. My devet is Cotton and according to the instructions this should have dyed with no problems.

Not as deep as expected
Used this dye.
Had some good results but not quite the deep colour on the pack.
Didn’t really put much fabric in. A variety of fabrics too.

Not good on wool.
This gave a very blotchy result as not all of the dye left the capsule.

Very bad experience
I had a really bad experience with this colouring. I did everything what was written on it. Washed in washing machine but my clothes ended with the many stains and I had it to throw away . Very bad experience. I would not recommend this product unless here would be better instructions.

Dyeing just got easier!
The Dylon Dye Pod is such a clever idea - no mess, no need to add salt, just take the seal off the pod and pop it in the washer. The dye gave a really intense colour on some tired poly-cotton pillowcases as well as a cotton sweatshirt. Very pleased with the results, and would definitely buy again - it seems expensive compared with other Dylon products, but I think it's good value nevertheless.

Machine rubbers has to be scrubbed after use
Whilst the product was good it was really hard work ! The machine had to be scrubbed after use it left lots of residue. When it says it doesn’t dye man made fabrics it really means it!! There was cotton lace in what I dyed, the lace was cotton but the stitching was polyester so it did not touch the stitching at all so not ideal
