Rated 5 out of 5 by Mandy101 from Finally found something that works After attending a slime workshop at Hobbycraft with my children I was really impressed at how easy it looked to do. After a year of my children wiping out my bicarb, blutac, toothpaste, shampoo and contact lens solution for it to always fail, I thought I would give it a go at home and buy the elmers and other kit that they used at the workshop. Can't believe it works so well after all the failed attempts. As you add it into the mixture you can see it instantly start to thicken it up into lovely gooey slime. I am now wiped out of all my plastic storage pots but at least my shampoo and bicarb are now safe. Would recommend this highly.

It doesn't matter how much I protest, she wants to make it - and squeeze it - and make disgusting noises with it! I've heard of all kinds of recipes for slime but the advice we got in Hobbycraft produced some A1 slime (if that's not an oxymoron!). A small jar of 'Elmer's' and some PVA glue (approx 3:1 mix), vigorous stirring and voila! A short time later, we have some pretty impressive slime that has lasted a good week so far. Add a SMALL amount of acrylic paint and some essential oil if you wish to take your concoction from 'boring' to 'groovy'.

I was dubious but in all honesty I have bought several cans of shaving foam numerous times and goodness knows how much liquid laundry detergent i have wasted my money on, so on balance it was actually economical IF it worked . It did and 3 happy children and 3 lots of slime there's still plenty left -So stop wasting your money and efforts on all the other recipes and just try this 1st!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Katie86 from Perfect for making slime! After attending the kids craft slime making session, My daughter was keen to buy the ingredients to make some slime at home. The lovely staff member, Aimee, told us that they'd just started stocking this particular product which was the slime activator. We had a go as soon as we got home and it worked perfectly! Very clear instructions on the bottle and there's even an easy measurement guide so you know how much you need per batch of slime. Great fun! (I would give it 5 stars but each bottle only makes 4 batches so works out quite pricey!)
