Brand new design, not an upgrade
Great looking pencils in black varnish. The feel and many aspect is reminding me of black chalk instead of graphite. The point is long lasting and very precise. It is like the legendary fine point (F) pencil that everyone talks about but hardly anyone gets right. I mean there are 8 pencils from HB to 14B, all of them keep good point longer than you expect. Fine grain paper is best match I think. If you have light hands you can draw with 6B and leave faint lines, so you won't end up with cartoon like outlines. I tried other black pencils, but these are way better then any other rivals. Highly recommended.
