Pretty but difficult to use
I thought it was wooden but it's actually rubber. Very pretty and effective hanging up. However its really difficult to use as doesn't open like a normal hoop. Took far too many attempts to line the material up and squeeze the hoop round the inner hoop. Probably wouldn't buy again due to how long it took to use.

Pretty for display
Looks good but can’t be adjusted and as a result couldn’t be used to hold work while doing

Looks very stylish
This frame is great to display your work. I would recommend to use a secure embroidery hoop which can be tightened while embroidering onto fabric as I think the fabric would not be held secure enough. It’s definitely a display hoop.
It can be a little tricky securing the the hoop around the fabric. Be forceful and once you get the right angle it fits nicely.
I have this hoop in many sizes and love the look of them

I love these little hoops!!
These little hoops are perfect for many little cross stitch and embroidery projects. Easy to get aida onto the hoops and they have the addition of the little decorative hanger which makes them easy to display as soon as your finished. I have bought many for various projects over the years and i can see myself buying many more.

Looks nice but not good to stitch with
This embroidery ring looks ok as a finishing frame for pieces with thin fabric - but is not screw-to-tighten, the outer ring fits more like an o-ring to the inner ring. This wasn’t obvious in-store as the hoop is sealed in a plastic bag.
Good as a cheap frame for a piece, but I wouldn’t recommend otherwise.

Perfect
I love these frames, I bought this as a display frame but as it was a small design I decided to use it to stitch and it was perfect. Much more secure than normal hoops that you tighten! A bit tricky to get the Aida into the hoop so people with mobility issues in their hands or fingers may struggle with this.

Good wee hoops
Am using them for the first time, must admit I prefer working on wooden/bamboo hoops because they are lighter on the wrist and they slide around less BUT these are ten times prettier for displaying and gifting, so it balances out. A matter of choice. Really good for gifting or selling your embroidery really.

Great Product
I usually wouldn’t use a hoop for such small embroidery, but started to get cramps from stretching the fabric with my hands, so purchased this product. After initial difficulty fixing such a small scrap in it securely, I have found it very helpful, and my hand pains are gone!
