Flexible Woodgrain Effect Embroidery Hoop 8 Inches

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Much nicer to use than the bamboo ones This hoop looks great, doesnt slip off, and is much easier to move the fabric around than the bamboo ones. The fabric does get a bit loose but its easy to tighten and I think this is just due to the size. Also the little screw pokes through and probably into the fabric, I'm using aida so not a problem but not sure if it would cause an issue if you were using cotton or similar

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks antique, great for hanging display My students embroidery work looked extra special displayed in these hoops in a public exhibition we recently staged. These strong and hard wearing, easy to use hoops make the work more attractive when the work is for sale, or simply for hanging on display in the textile studio. I could not believe they were only £2.90 each! Incredible value. Sadly all other sizes were out of stock in store and online. This proves how popular they are!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Stylistically great, not super practical Love these flexible wood grain hoops for finished cross stitch and embroidery projects, but they're not great for actively stitching on. I find during the course of the day the fabric slips, and honestly it can be a nightmare to get the fabric on the hoop. But it is one of my favorite ways to display finished work. They look great!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just what I needed It’s been a good few years since I did cross stitch and I initially attempted to use an inferior wooden hoop. A couple of splinters later plus frustration trying to get the fabric into the hoop I visited Hobbycraft and picked up this bad boy. So much easier to use, more flexible and no more splinters!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not good for holding work tight. This hoop is not good for holding thick material. It’s great for thinner cotton or soft Aida but it doesn’t do well holding material tight. I had to go back to the store and get one of the wooden hoops with the tightening screw. I think this hoop is designed purely for display purposes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from frames work nicely Using to needle felt 2D pictures. with some material from the fat quarters and felt sheets. Ran some glue around inner loop before snapping over the material. Gripps all material well with no creasing. Once glue set holds in place while needle felting, grat product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful priduct I purchased this hoop to do macrame work on and it works perfectly. The natural look and feel of this item really brings my creations together and I will definitely be purchasing more. An absolutely excellent product for the price. No quarrels.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy strong hoop Initially it took a bit of getting used to compared to my other cheaper hoops that I got in starter packs but this one is great. Your fabric doesn't get slack at all and it feels really sturdy and strong. At £4 I think it's a bargain
