So Professional Looking
The Ginger Ray Small Gingham Jam Jar Topper Kit 20 Pack, is excellent value. They made my jam look like they were made by professionals. All my friends have been asking me questions about the kit, the cost, the content and where I got them from. I must say I did a lot of online research before I carried out my jam making exercise, and I must say that Hobbycraft has the most excellent value for money products and I’m not just talking about this kit. You will be surprised as I was. I will always check Hobbycraft before I purchase elsewhere.

Disappointed
Unfortunately the elastic band material does not secure the disc to the jar – I had a variety of sizes for them to fit, and none worked. The toppers are made of too-stiff material and would not bend over the jam jar lids.

Cute toppers
These cute jam jar toppers took my homemade jam jars to the next level. Kit includes everything you need though i wish there was more twine as i ran out while tying the cute labels which are also included.

Everything you need in one packet!!
I had made some jam with blackberries that I had picked from our local nature reserve, and wanted to decorate the jars as giving them as presents for work colleagues!!
The packet consisted of gingham toppers, twine and labels !! Finished off my jam jars just lovely and a great price !!

Disappointing
Unfortunately the gingham checked covers are quite thick and has a shiny side which makes it difficult to keep it in place whilst trying to get the elastic band on also because of the stiffness of the fabric it does not frill nicely. Plain cotton with no backing would have been better.

This product is good
I found that the product is good to use except for the precut circles for the lids. They were quite stiff and I struggled to get them to stay on the jars. Other than that they were great and my jars looked lovely
