Does what it says
I bought this to spray over painted glass. It dries fairly quickly and gives the seall that was required.Good value for money.

Not great on painted glass
Nice clear and even coverage but sadly when spraying onto glass it made my permenant pens run and for some reason it made my acrylic paint pens shrink in some places and crack all over. It is better on top of acrylic paint but some cracking of paint did still occur. I waited over a week for paints to dry before trying again but it still happened 😞 Sadly I don't dare use this again incase it ruins more of my artwork. Might be better in other surfaces though?

Fab product, sealed glitter brilliantly, did a few coats to be sure but it's held incredibly well.

Cheap but mighty!
Works just as well as other expensive brands for the level of crafting I am doing! Very happy with it. It really elevates the look of painted wooden boxes!

Absolutely appalling
I bought this 2 days ago instead of the Plasticote sealant I normally use, simply because I could not find the gloss one in the store. I used it today on an extremely expensive 1/12 Airfix Bentley over which I have spent hours getting the bodywork correct and painted to a high standard. Fortunately the majority of the model is a matt finish so only the body had to have this gloss sealer applied. 2 minutes after the first coat all the paint suffered a reaction and literally blistered up in front of me completely destroying the whole finish. It also caused at least 2 glued and filled joints to fall apart. The blurb for this product states that it is entirely suitable for acrylic paint !Well in my case it's not. I have used lacquer / sealers for years and never experienced a reaction of this type. Seeing the reaction I believe something is wrong with the mix of solvents and product in the can. I did read the reviews first, the can was shaken for at over 5 minutes because it was new, it was applied as a initial thin coat, and the room temp was 20 c. So assuming this product has not damaged the actual plastic I am facing more loads more hours of workI not just in repainting but in making sure no trace of this stuff remains to cause a reaction of the new paint. I have photo's of the damage but I not get this site to accept them.
