The Glowforge Plus 3D Laser Cutter and Engraver will bring your creative vision to life at the speed of light! The cutting-edge machine offers a fast and simple way to create a whole host of DIY projects.

Glowforge uses a beam of light to cut, engrave and shape designs from a variety of materials, including wood, leather, fabric, cardboard, acrylic and more. From making unique gifts and transforming your home décor to launching your small business – this machine offers so many possibilities!

Using the Autofocus feature, with material detection and automatic print settings, you can bring unique designs to life. Just pick your drawing, PDF or photo, add one of dozens of household materials, and click print. The inbuilt cameras will scan your drawing or design to turn it into a product. You can even resize, copy or personalise further once you’ve scanned. There’s nothing to install and the free app works with your PC, Mac, phone or tablet.

The Plus offers upgraded components and an engraving speed that’s up to twice as fast as the Glowforge Basic. You will need to place near a window for ventilation during use.

The Glowforge Aura is the first Craft Laser, letting you unleash your creativity from your home.

The Glowforge Basic is the standard home offering for personal printing.

The Glowforge Plus is the premium home offering for the ultimate personal printing experience, ideal for small craft businesses.

The Glowforge Pro is the most powerful and capable Glowforge model, suitable for big projects, businesses of any size and shared use.

Differences between the machines include:

Speed: Glowforge Aura uses a blue, 6 watt, solid state laser for powerful cut speeds. Compared to the Glowforge Basic and Plus 40 watt CO2 laser, Glowforge Pro uses a 45 watt CO2 laser which lets it cut at speeds up to 12X faster than Glowforge Aura.

Material Size: Glowforge Aura works with materials 12” x 12” size. It can cut materials up to 1/4" thick, and engrave materials up to 3/4" thick with the cutting tray removed. The Glowforge Basic, Plus and Glowforge Pro work with materials up to 18” deep, 20.4” wide, and 2” thick. The maximum printable area is about 11” x 19.5”.
With the Passthrough slot, the Glowforge Pro lets you make oversized prints. It can work with materials 20” wide, up to ¼” thick, and as long as you want. To use the Passthrough slot, you print the first 10 inches, slide the material through the slot, and repeat. That means you can create huge, dramatic products, including furniture!

Laser Class: Glowforge Basic, Plus and Glowforge Aura are both Class 1 lasers (like a DVD player). The Glowforge Pro Passthrough slot makes the Pro model a Class 4 laser which requires the person using it to have laser safety training (included with your purchase). You should not use the Pro in public or around kids without installing the included Pro Shields.

All machines come with a 12-month warranty.

Glowforge Plus can safely print on most laser-compatible materials including wood, acrylic, leather, veneer, paper, cardboard, denim, mylar, rubber, cork, sandpaper, food, stone, slate, titanium, aluminum, marble, ceramic tile, corian, and hundreds more!

Glowforge recommends using compatible Proofgrade materials for smart settings and perfect results. Proofgrade materials are specially sourced and lab-tested for creating prints safely at home.

You can use your Glowforge from a Mac, PC, tablet, and smartphone, using our simple, powerful, and free web interface. To prepare your project, you can choose to use any software that saves a PDF (Adobe Illustrator, Inkscape, CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, Autodesk 360, and Sketchup and more). Glowforge can print JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF, and other file formats. To print a file, just drag-and-drop it directly on our app, and then adjust the preview to your liking.

She took lots of time helping me over a couple of days and then I bought it. I am over the moon, it’s so easy to use and set up, and so quick. It’s worth every penny. I have a small Dollshouse business and it will be an amazing tool to take my designs to the next level.

I’ve just completed the first print files and success! Easy to use and follow the given getting started instruction on the website. I’m eager to start with some fun and more challenging projects already!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Indili11 from Beware My glowforge plus has a power issue and needs a new laser tube. I contacted glowforge and they don't deal with repairs any more. They passed me on to a company that do repairs and I was told that the shipping alone to USA would cost $1800. They shouldn't be selling in the UK when this is what happens when the unit breaks down. (Out of warranty) The lifespan of a laser tube is around 2 years and will need to be replaced. Also, should also mention that this is my 2nd glowforge. The first one broke after a year and I was sent a refurbished one as a replacement. I'm now looking into alternatives.

Rated 1 out of 5 by skd1 from Expsenive paperwieght Very limited and uses cloud-based services. if their servers go down the laser becomes a massive, expensive paperweight, which I have been experiencing for the past 24 hours. Also, you have to pay to do simple tasks like draw a simple shape, use text functions and even flip in images in their user interface.
