Looks great but quality is a bit flimsy
The box looks great and i used one of them to gift some cake to a friend who was super impressed. The major flaw is that the box is quite weak and when initially folded wouldn’t stay in place until I put something inside it. This meant I was worried it would rub against the sides of the cake so I had to cut a board to line the bottom of the box prior to using it. The plain white cake boxes are a much better quality however just don’t look as good.

Stunning box but didn't hold its shape
These boxes are beautiful! But sadly did not hold their shape. I had to reinforce the sides with some cardboard so that they would stop folding in on themselves.
Once I did that they were really good !

A strong and attractive product
This cake box was an excellent choice for a gift of a homemade Dundee Cake. Very strong and ideal for a man gift. Teamed with a 10 inch blue board and Beresford Tartan Ribbon. A very attractive combination.

Nice looking but very flimsy
Bought a pack of these boxes for a family member's birthday cake. The design is really cute but unfortunately I found the sides of the boxes to be very flimsy - they kept folding in on themselves and touching the cake. They really need to be reinforced with extra card. Quite disappointed as they just haven't lived up to the usual Hobbycraft standard on this occasion.

Pretty but poor quality
Really disappointed in these boxes.
The glue which holds the flaps on the lid down was totally insufficient and the flaps popped open - there was minimal force used as it was just as the box was being set up.
Both boxes in the pack were the same - in the end i just had to sellotape the flaps down.
Poor quality product.

Great design but, let down by being flimsy cardboard
Overall I was disappointed with these boxes as although they have a great design the box itself is incredibly flimsy and made transporting a cake in it very difficult. However, if the cardboard was a little stiffer these boxes would be great, as they would be functional as well as funky

Nice looking but very Thin
I bought these boxes to do an afternoon tea birthday treat for my friend. Lovley looking boxes but I found them very thin and they kept folding in when I was trying to arrange the items inside. Probably better for a cake sitting on a cake board.

Flimsy though pretty
This box looks good but is very flimsy. It tends to collapse in on itself even with things in. It doesn't support weight well. The glue holding it together was not sufficient and I had to restick one of the sides with tape after it fell apart. I would not buy again.
