High quality for a cheap price
As a younger artist I don't like to spend loads of money on my art supplies. I was looking for some new brushes to use for watercolour paintings, and found this set at my local store. They were £4 (as being in the Art Sale). I wasn't expecting very good quality, considering the price, but I was surprised to find they were exactly the same quality as a set I have from Windsor and Newton! I would definitely buy anothe set. My only con for these brushes, is that during the first couple of uses they can cause small grains in the paint. I would recommend and thorough washing of the brushes pre use. Other than that beautiful brushes!

This product is very useful to artists
This product is at a affordable price and gets your money's worth as it's a very obvious and a useful product. For young,teen,adult and senior artists,a paint brush set is needed for every artist as it's one of the basic supplies need to create pieces of art that are sure to impress others. It's got the appropriate sizes of brushes and fits in alot of places to be put and stored. This paint brush set comes in a nice quantity and can be used for more than a paint brush.

Pretty good
Nice brushes which are brilliant with solvent based water proof varnish.
My recommendation is to thoroughly clean the brushes before use with hot clean soapy water and let them dry to remove whatever the bristles are coated with, otherwise they are excellent!

Good value and quality
Have bought these before. Good selection of brush heads in this pack and great value as on sale.
This is my second set of brushes from Hobbycraft, as I found the longer handle ones a bit clumsy. Love these though.

Golden Taklon Brush Set
I recently purchased the Golden Taklon Brush set from my local store, for a project I am doing that I will be exhibiting at my final year show at a gallery in Summer time. The paint brushes were affordable, which is always a good bonus as a student & they work extremely well with the materials and painting materials I tend to use. I was offered a student discount on top of that & I really enjoyed my time searching for materials. The brushes are affordable & made from a really good material that enables me to communicate my visual language well. Thank you.

A mixed bag. The flat brushes were excellent with a nice spring & paint holding quality fir acrylics. The round pointed brush held promise but is steadily shedding hairs so not so great.

These are brilliant brushes. I recommend them to all my students. Brilliant value. Easily cleaned. Work just as well as many far more expensive brands.
