Quality sewing thread
I always buy Gutermann for both hand and machine sewing as you know you are getting quality thread at a sensible price. I like getting it in Hobbycraft as the always gave a good stock of types and colours.

A basic colour thread for my sewing box
This reel of blue Guttermann thread is in my sewing box ‘just in case’ I need to do a spot of mending. I trust the quality of Guttermann threads, knowing they won’t be ‘furry’ or snap unexpectedly.

Great all-round thread
I have used this for years. The colours don't vary, the thread is strong, even when you sewing stretch fabrics. I love it.
