I love Gutermann thread
Gutermann thread is a complete joy to sew with. The quality is second to none and that makes sewing easier. It's never fluffy, so it's simple to thread your needle and its strong enough to sew all sorts of fabrics. It's my thread of choice and I wouldn't use anything else.

You get what you pay for
I always use Gutermann thread for top stitching, hand sewing and quilting due to the superior quality compared to cheaper thread. Particularly when hand sewing, eg, English paper piecing, cheap thread frays easily.

Worth paying extra for
This cotton is dearer than others but is much better for your sewing machine and worth paying the extra for. It sews well and great selection of colours.
