Perfect for my needs
I use it to mark out a grid for my cross stitch. Better than pencil because it stays visible and needles slide past it rather than through it when completing the design.

Looks good.....but hard to work with.
I used this thread for hand sewing and found it difficult to knot and it also tangled very easily as I was sewing. Having said that, with a lot of patience, the finished article looks good. Perhaps it is more suited to use with a sewing machine?

worked well for what I needed
I bought this to crochet along side some white wool to make snowflakes. I wanted an extra sparkle which it gave really well. I'm not sure that it would be strong enough for too much sewing but definitely gives a good effect.

AmaZING!
Was surprised at how easy this was to use for machine embroidery as it can be a bit of a hit or a miss when using threads on the machine. This was a definite hit and very effective - love it!
