Unusual use
I was actually looking for graph paper with large squares so I could map out some cross-stitch. I couldn't find any but a member of staff led me to this dressmakers' paper. It did exactly what I needed, just basic mapping of a crossword-type design. I have poor eyesight and design on the computer, but mapping something out on computer isn't easy. This was perfect and I'll buy it again.

very useful
I intended to buy plain tissue paper to make my own patterns from old garments but this was strong and I found the squares very useful. I thought it was expensive but it was worth the price as I could pin it more easily than tissue paper.

Would be better rolled
This is great for pattern making. As its folded, there are creases in the paper which don't really iron out so would be better if they could provide in a roll instead or cardboard backed sheets to keep paper smooth.

Such a brilliant product, especially for measurements beyond 30cms

Really useful, but expensive.
I would find lots of uses for this if it was not so expensive.

Needles misstitching
The needles were not functioning correctly - thought I had finished sewing a long piece of material when I discovered there were long gaps where the stitching was missing. Talked about it in my sewing class and it transpired that lots of people had experienced this with this particular make. They are missing a groove that goes behind the needle which guides the thread. Unfortunately I have bought around 6 packs which will now not be used.

Does the job
I'm not a standard pattern size so I use a tissue pattern as a starting point and then use this product to make new pattern pieces that match my measurements. It's robust enough to use over and over again for those TNT patterns I love. I also use it for self drafted patterns made from ready to wear clothing items I already have.

Needed ironing to flatten creases.
I purchased this to use to create a template for a sewing project. the pack contained several sheets of paper. Sad to say they were all shoddily folded as a bunch, and I resorted to ironing them individually in order to flatten the many creases before I could use them.
