Decent quality mount, misleading size
Nice quality mount, not a bad price. Be aware that the exterior dimension is 40x40cm but the aperture dimension is 28x28xm NOT 30x30 as it’s says on the packet. I expect a little rounding down (maybe 5mm each way) to ensure no gaps but 2cm total difference is a little more than expected and cut off some of my picture.

Strong sturdy mount
Used as a mount inside a 40x40cm deep box frame that I also purchased from hobby craft but it didn’t come with a mount. So I purchased this separately and it finished the mount of nicely. Very strong and sturdy and really good quality.

Damaged Goods
I purchased two of these mounts unfortunately I did not examine them carefully in the shop and when coming to use them I noticed that both mounts were creased at various points. I should have returned them to the shop but assumed they would blame me for the damage even though I was particularly careful with them until I came to use them. It would be good if staff could have checked these at the point of sale.

Choose carefully!!
I had to return the first mounting frame as it had a mark on it. The rest of the ones in store all had marks or creases on them so I had a refund. Returned to the store and all the still faulty ones were still for sale!! Fortunately there was one that was ok.
