How to make
Start by covering each box in the matte acrylic paint of your choice. There is no need to prime or prepare your box, but you will probably find that two or three coats are needed to get an even colour. Make sure that the previous coat of paint is dry before applying the next.
Once your final coat of paint is dry, use a ruler or the edge of your stencil to draw the baseline for your message. If your message is short, you may only need one central line as a guide. If it is more than a single word, you will probably need to draw two lines.
Use your stencil to lightly draw out each letter of your message. You can easily rub it out and try again at this point if it doesn't fit or looks off-center.
Once you are happy with your design, use the red paint to block in your letters. Once the red paint has dried, erase your pencil lines. FIll your boxes with raffia, chocolates and other treats!
