Corrugated card
Cut a 5cm wide strip of corrugated card big enough to fit around mum's head with a slight overlap - make sure the length goes across the corrugations to create grooves for you to be able to attach the pipe cleaners. Glue the ends of the strip together to make a ring.
Cut pipe cleaners in half, add a dob of glue to each end, then bend into an arch and push into corrugations in the card. Repeat all the way around with each arch slightly overlapping.
To make the heart in the centre, wrap two different coloured pipe cleaners together and bend into a heart shape, twisting the ends together. Glue and poke into the corrugated card at the front of the crown. Repeat to make smaller hearts out of pipe cleaners cut in half.
Cut a 5cm wide strips of coloured card and glue it around the crown on the outside and inside.
Write 'No. 1 Mum' onto the matching card, the letters should be about 4cm tall. Cut out and glue onto the front of the crown.
