Shocking quality
I'd never purchased an Italeri model before but assumed that the quality of moulding would be equivalent to Tamiya or Revell etc. Unfortunately, the finish is very poor so there is a lot of prep and trimming to do, far more than other manufacturers. Worse is the misalignment of halves on many pieces, especially spokes and other fine detail. No doubt this could appeal to many as an additional challenge, but the premium you pay for Italeri does not justify poor quality in my opinion.

exceptional buy
been looking at this for months, finally buy it and what a kit. rubber tyres, real metal springs for seat suspension, all hoses and brake cables flexible rubber tubing and a lot of options on the decal sheet. when built this is going to be a large and impressive model. Also comes witha scale sten gun and riders helmet.

Looking forward to making this model
I bought this model as is it a bike I owned back in the late 1950's, it was the second bike out of 6 I owned before I got a car licence.

Excellent detailed kit
Builds into a really nice model, parts fit very well, with few sink marks and flash.
In all a worthwhile project.

Pretty good
This kit is pretty good, lots of detail and with time and patience turns out really nice.only issue is the fit if some of the parts is a bit hit and miss, take your time to clean each part and it goes together fairly well, lots of trimming and sanding.
Now I didn't go down the military route but that's half the fun in my opinion.

A really satisfying build.
This is one of my more satisfying builds. Yes, the kit is dated - I remember building the 1:9 Harley from the same manufacturer around fifty years ago - but with a bit of patience and effort it builds into a really nice model. I was so fired by it that I bought and made the 1:9 1985 Dakar BMW. The 1:9 1986 Dakar Yamaha is currently in the post.
