Excellent value
I will admit that I'm an absolute novice having just joined a little local group to learn some crafts I have started to crochet. I purchased some of this wool as it looked so pretty and it was on a price promotion. It has stood up to being unraveled and reworked a few times now but I have finally created my basic granny squares and they look lovely. The different shades of the wool give such a beautiful effect and looks far more sophisticated than my skill level would normally achieve. Others in my group have been so impressed they want some for themselves now.

Baby marble DK
The yarn is quite coarse for a baby and there is far too much length of each colour. When knitting a small garment with short rows it gives large blocks of colour instead of a marbled effect. Very disappointing!!!

Really great summer colours
This yarn is variegated and the balls I chose have a lovely summer/beach range of colours. It knits up nicely and has produced a babies jacket that will suit boy or girl.

Disappointment
the colour range is too spread out for knitting baby garments. You do not get the full range of the colour changes in back of baby cardigan.

Excellent wool for my baby blanket projects
This is the 3rd time I have bought a batch of this wool. I use it to make Dragon scale baby blankets

Just love this wool
I did knit my grandson a hooded cardigan in the same wool and colour when he was one year old. He has just turned three and my daughter wanted a new one for him in the same wool. He had it on for the first time on Friday and all I had was, what a lovely cardigan, where did you get the wool.Hobbycraft of course!

Pretty colours
I bought this yarn to crochet a baby blanket in neutral tones, and it crochets up beautifully with the different colours in it, and adding an accent colour with it, brings out the vibrancy. I have used this yarn on my grandsons blanket as well I teamed it with a grey yarn to make the colours stand out.
