Not as impressed with this pattern
I have knitted a James C Brett pattern before and loved it but cannot say the same about the jumper pattern. I am knitting it without the pattern on it because I found the pattern misleading as it appeared quite a closed pattern but it is very open. I would need to wear something underneath to feel comfortable in it but this defeats its purpose for me. As a cardigan I would love it. I’m using the correct wool and again like the multicolored wool.

Easy to follow pattern at a good price
The pattern is easy to follow and the wool to knit this pattern with was readily available at Hobbycraft. I made a jumper similar to this a few months ago for my daughter (pattern and wool also purchased from Hobbycraft) and it only took about 6 weeks, because of the clear instructions and the gorgeous wool.

nice colours
Made this in a larger size. Not an experienced knitter, but just about managed it!
Nice wool. Once I got the lace pattern in my head, it was fine, just do it in one go, as undoing was a nightmare!

Gorgeous pattern
A very easy pattern to follow, the lacy sections are very straightforward too. Should look gorgeous when it’s finished.
