Perfect for babies
I absolutely love this yarn. It has to be the best for crocheted baby blankets. I have my first granddaughter aged 6mgonths and she also adores them. They are so soft and as she cuddles into her 'blankies' we have no worry of fibres in her mouth. I have so far made 7, with various combinations of colour. When made up they look so perfect. I am now making baby comfort blankets with a small teddy / bunny etc. I would most definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try for a first time. I will advise though that if knitting you must be so careful not to drop a stitch as it is not as easy to pick it up

It was very good it made a nice crochet friend. It’s very soft wool and I definitely will be using it again!

Very soft and pretty but prone to breaking
This wool knits up really nicely giving a soft and luxurious feel to your knitwear. I was using a 'trial and error' system of knitting and sadly I didn't buy enough to complete my project so I would say buy one more ball than you need. I did have to cut sections of the yarn because it had knotted quite badly and, as with all chenille type yarns, it broke in two or three places. I have given it four stars because despite the knotting and breaking it is still a beautiful wool and I would definitely buy again.

The product is easy to knit up.
This wool is a pleasure to knit with, quick to knit up and very soft to the touch, the only negativity is when sewing up the garment, double knit yarn is recommended as the yarn has a tendency to fray when pulled.

Not impressed at all.
Disappointed with this yarn. It sheds so badly that it barely made it through the creating stage. Stripped the fibre from the core when I was weaving in the ends.
One ball of this was also badly knotted and stripped in the centre so I had to cut a part out.
I’m using the blanket as a test piece now to see how it withstands the washing process. I’m not hopeful.
I definitely wouldn’t use this for making baby blankets either. I fear it would be a choking hazard.
The plain pink is better than the mixed white, pink and purple. Less shedding with that one, but it is a different texture, which is odd considering it’s supposed to be from the same line.
No fault of Hobbycraft. Entirely the fault of the manufacturer. No clue why this gets such high ratings. I’ve had cheaper chunky yarns that are much better quality.

Lovely wool
Lovely wool for a baby blanket. Good choice of colours and even better on 3 for 2 offer.
