Disappointed
I found this varied in thickness. Sometimes as thin as cotton and further on like chunky.

Beautiful unique yarn
Lovely yarn, so soft and beautiful colours. I really don’t understand the bad reviews, yes the weight changes but that’s part of the rustic style charm of the yarn. I’m making a scarf and it looks beautiful so far. If you’re going for the “perfect” look then this yarn isn’t for you, but if you’re going for rustic and unique it’s brilliant! You can tell just by looking at the skein from the outside that the weight changes, it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. Not had any issues with tangling or when frogging.

Variable thickness
Oh dear. What ever this yarn might be it certainly is not Aran. I was attracted by the lovely colours and softness but some lengths are very thick, some lengths are very thin - absolutely no consistency. I really wish I had read the reviews but foolishly I assumed that I could rely on Hobbycraft own brand for quality and value for money. What I find infuriating is Hobbycraft’s response to its customer feedback “please contact us if you need further help”. Further help?? At the least the label should clearly state that the thickness is variable

Disappointed
Wish I read the reviews because I was SO excited for this colourway, such a beautiful yarn but absolutely let down by the variation in weight throughout the whole skein. This wouldn't be such an issue if the variation was less but some areas are super chunky while some are extremely thin!

Wouldnt recommend
Very difficult to frog, and the yarn varies in weight throughout the skein (certain colour sections are almost 4ply thin, others almost as thick as super chunky) . Ended up abandoning the project as its horrible to frog! Pretty colourway though

Lovely colour but poor quality
Lovely colour however very difficult to knit with as each strand differed from very thin to very thick. Extremely difficult to use for sewing garment it kept unraveling and breaking,

Excellent yarn for a hexagon cardigan.
I really enjoyed crocheting with this yarn. The texture varies from very thick to almost thread like. It’s quite a short change between colours.

Great yarn but please stop using Royal Mail
Lovely colours, nice quality for the price. I love the different textures and thickness of spun yarn, not something you see often in big hobby stores. I’ve also used two of the other colours, equally as beautiful. The green is my favourite.
Shame it’s selling out so fast in my local store so I had to order online and pay for delivery when don’t like using Royal Mail as I pay for next day and it takes two. You should consider adding another courier service.
