Works like a charm!!
They have a nice grip - they hold loose stitches nice and tight. I found they are also useful clamping down small paper crafts (holding glued bits together).

Very useful - for a different purpose
Used these clips for a machine sewing job instead of pins so the leatherette didn't get pinholed. So, although not used for the original purpose (holding pieces of knitting), these are quite effective. the longer clips were most relevant because of the length but they could do with a stronger spring to grip more effectively. All in all, a cost effective improvised solution.
