Brilliant for sponge, not so good for buttercream.
This colour was superb for colouring sponge cake, the colour was very vibrant and you didn't need a lot, the heat of cooking didn't seem to effect the colour at all either.
I did not find these colours particularly good for colouring buttercream, as although the colour was vibrant and you again didn't need to use much, the colour was very grainy, and no matter how much I stirred the colour would not colour some flecks of the buttercream. I much prefer wilton colours for buttercream.
A final positive would be that the colour was easy to clean off my hands with soap and water and did not stain like other colours.

Great to work with!
The colour was exactly the same as on the tube, and it was great to work with, didn't make the fondant all sticky like some do. And barely had to use any at all to get desired colour.

Great colour, no nasty flavour
Bought this to add into buttercream frosting for some mothers day cupcakes. Colour came out really well without having to use too much! Love this brand :)
