With our Light Grip Cutting Mat, we’re making it easy for you to enjoy personalising in a whole host of different ways using your digital cutting machine!

This mat is ideal for a range of lightweight materials, including common office printer paper, vellum, light cardstock and more. The mat itself is also marked out in inch squares ensuring that lining up your projects is made easy, with imperial and metric measurements on the grid.

Tested and approved by Hobbycraft Artisans, the mat will last well and features a light tack. It will adhere your material well while you’re cutting and scoring, but you can easily remove from the mat after use.

I was pleasantly surprised by the stick was great for what I needed it for. I used the mat to do cutting in the machine with card stock and it snapped the mat after approximately 6 uses. " Exactly the same as the above comment with the mat I had (bought in a set of 3 mixed), mine however snapped because the blade went right through it despite my cricut only being set on light cardstock

I just opened this size up this morning and used it 2 times before it literally snapped! Very annoyed by this and I’ve seen another comment saying the same. I have always used the method of peeling the mat from the material and I’ve never had any issues with it before until using this mat.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Littlebutterflygb from Sticky Overall this is a good mat, but like many of the mats which are but made by the machine's manufacturer, it is too sticky to be for Light Card. It's as sticky as the Medium mat from the machine manufacturer, so best used for stronger materials than card. I found card difficult to remove and bits of card stuck fast to the mat and needed a scraper to remove.

It’s ripped the design when trying to remove it, despite doing so carefully. I’ve bought lightgrip mats off of Amazon for imitation to Cricut and would recommend them thoroughly for a cheaper price than this too.

Rated 1 out of 5 by itscolin from Snapped after a couple of runs I figured I'd try out this mat out because it was cheaper than the brand version. I liked the colour of it and the adhesion was very good but the cricut I use kept accidentally aligning itself to the black grid lines on the mat which wasted a lot of time. After less than a dozen uses to cut stickers the mat snapped so it wasn't worth the purchase.
